In-Fisherman TV , which plays exclusively on Outdoor Channel during the first two quarters of the year (a new year starts in January), and on Sportsman Channel , the third and fourth quarters, plus at select times on the World Fishing Network , remains one of the most popular outdoor programs of all time. The format is simple, straightforward, and memorable, as In-Fisherman editors take viewers to fish for three different fish species in three different parts of North America on each show.
Smallmouth bass, crappies, walleyes, muskies, and pike; salmon, sturgeon, largemouth bass, catfish, and carp—and many more, including at times inshore species like redfish, stripers, tarpon, and sharks. It makes for an exciting mix, with the emphasis on teaching about fishing, the fish, and the world they live in.
But everyone can’t access In-Fisherman TV . And even those who can are only able to watch In-Fisherman during regular viewing hours unless the program is recorded. Too, many anglers want even more in-depth coverage of subjects they see for a short time during the show. This is where MyOutdoor TV (MOTV) enters the scene to complement our regular television programming.
MOTV allows access, on demand, to thousands of hours of material and episodes generated over the years by the top outdoor television producers of hunting, fishing, and shooting programming, including In-Fisherman . MOTV is like Netflix for lovers of the outdoors. Currently you can watch 12 seasons of In-Fisherman TV —that’s over 250 episodes at your fingertips—when you want, wherever you want, and available content will continue to expand. Or, just lean back and watch the MOTV AnglerStream , a new live channel featuring the best fishing content from MOTV. This complements MOTV HuntStream.

To put the universal force of MOTV in perspective, know that In-Fisherman is part of a larger group of outdoor magazines, digital entities, and television shows called the Outdoor Sportsman Group . Other magazines include Peterson’s Hunting , Wildfowl , Florida Sportsman , Peterson’s Bowhunting , Shooting Times , Guns & Ammo , Bowhunter , Guns & Ammo Handguns , Game & Fish , Fly Fisherman , North American Whitetail , Gun Dog , Firearms News , and Rifle Shooter . Three cable television networks also are part of this group: Outdoor Channel, Sportsman Channel, and World Fishing Network. Outdoor Sportsman Group is the largest single purveyor of outdoor programming in the world, which is what makes MOTV such a potent viewing force.
MOTV is available on Web, Apple, Android, smart TVs, Amazon, YouTube TV—pretty much anywhere you want to watch In-Fisherman . The video is delivered in high definition—so it looks stunning.
Thousands of you tune into Outdoor Channel each week to head into the field with the In Fisherman staff as they ride the edge of discovery, traveling around North America to fish for just about everything that swims. Our television show complements this magazine, offering hands-on help with fishing problems. It’s entertaining as well as educational. And we’ve been doing this for over four decades, one of the longest-running television fishing shows in history.
