Fishing Gear: VMC Tokyo Rig Heavy Duty Wide Gap

VMC Tokyo Rig Heavy Duty Wide Gap

Description and Application: One-piece, solid ring connected to a premium rolling swivel allows the bait to move freely above the dropper arm with a natural flowing and undulating action. Rigging recommendations: Insert your favorite weight and/or bead combinations onto the shaft then bend the end of the shaft with a pair of narrow nose pliers to hold in place. The rigs are available in 2/0, 3/0, 4/0 and 5/0.

Staff Perspective:The Toyko Rig belongs in your bass-fishing arsenal for sure, and it will take a little getting-to-know. But it’ll be worth it. The rig works well in similar places where a jig plays, even a Texas-rigged worm might be substituted effectively. The unique action requires an up-and-down rod tip motion to work it through brush and vegetation. Rig it with a large creature, craw or curly tail worm and the result will speak for themselves.

Cost:$4.99-$17.99 (2- and 10-packs)
